1. If the dimensions of the bike in the sum of three dimensions exceed 200 cm, then, as before, you will need to pay extra for it. However, if you disassemble (fold) the bike and fit into the dimensions of 200 cm, then it will be free for transportation.

2. In electric trains, the requirement for mandatory transportation of a bicycle in vestibules is disappearing. The bike can now be transported as regular luggage in the luggage racks, which are in many carriages next to the interior doors. In the future, these places and the cars themselves with such platforms will be marked with pictograms. It is much more convenient both for the cyclists themselves and for other passengers. If the platforms are overcrowded, or they are not on the train (as, for example, on diesel trains), then you can place the bike in the vestibule. Usually the first and last carriages of trains have wide vestibules.

“This change in the rules will allow eliminating certain difficulties for other passengers when boarding or disembarking from a train, as well as when moving from one carriage to another,” the Belarusian Railways experts commented.

3. When transporting a bicycle, the general rules for the carriage of hand luggage apply: it must not stain the passenger compartment and clothes. These are the elementary rules of courtesy that should always be taken into account by cyclists who plan to combine any public transport and bicycle.

4. When buying a ticket on the business class line, you can buy a ticket for a bicycle seat and buy a seat next to you. Belarusian Railways offers this option when purchasing tickets via the Internet, offering two options for the ticket price.

There are no discount coupons for a bike

Seniors and other people who have benefits must pay the full price of the bike ticket. That is, in fact, beneficiaries will pay more for transporting an unassembled bicycle in hand luggage than for themselves.
