“In many countries, a bicycle is an integral part of the life of a city dweller, and its use does not dictate any special requirements,” Anastasia Yanchevskaya, director of the Minsk Cycling Society, tells about the idea. - Our project is designed to break the stereotypes: “you need a shower”, “you can't ride in heels, in a dress and a suit”, “I want to look beautiful, but the bike gets in the way” ... A bicycle is comfortable, environmentally friendly, healthy and stylish!

“Taking into account our flat location, I think that the concepts of“ bicycle ”and“ Minsk ”should become one whole,” TV presenter and showman Dmitry Kokhno comments on his participation in the project. - I think that every year Minsk greatly improves its comfort for cyclists, but I, like many, want more! I want to rent bicycles on the central streets, I want to be able to ride a city bike from meeting to meeting, and I want the bicycle Minsk to be not a protest to the car, but another facet of a modern city.

But the radio and television presenter Ekaterina Pytleva chooses a bike because it is the embodiment of her childhood dream: - When I was little, my family did not have the opportunity to buy a bike for me, so I only drove with my grandmother on other people's huge “adults”. But when the adult Katya had her own, I realized that this was a very convenient transport for me. And even when there was an opportunity to go to the early broadcasts with a driver in a company car, I refused, because I did not want to miss the opportunity to ride a bicycle through the deserted early Minsk.

In addition to social networks, the photo project will also be presented off-line in the form of a photo exhibition on September 22 on Lenin Street, which will become a pedestrian one as part of the city holiday “A Day Without a Car”.
