We will tell you in detail how a cycling school works. The most courageous will be able to immediately start classes, and the rest can sign up for a convenient time for them. To become a pupil or a student of a cycling school, you only need a desire - you can come to classes even without your own bike. This season we are admitting adults and children over 10 years old. But the parents of the kids can come to classes themselves, the instructors will explain to them simple rules, after which they can teach their children on their own.
The school will be held twice a week: on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 18.00 to 20.00... Gathering place - by the fountain in the park named after Yanka Kupala... Everyone will have time to learn to ride a bike and understand the necessary traffic rules. It is planned that classes will continue in all weather conditions until October.
Last year, 150 Minsk residents became graduates of the cycling school. On average, it takes 3-5 sessions to start feeling confident behind the wheel of a bicycle. Study is absolutely free, you only need register... By the way, if you already know how to ride a bike, you can join the school as volunteer instructors... You can come to the Open Day without prior registration.
The cycling school is a public non-profit project of the Minsk Cycling Society, the goal of which is to give people the opportunity to learn how to ride a bike from scratch. The project has been operating in Minsk since 2014. Since 2017, the cycling school has been financially supported by the European Union within the framework of the Urban Cycling in Belarus project.
