We are looking for volunteers to organize the UNDP bike ride!

From August 27 to September 5, a bike ride will be held in Belarus dedicated to the problem of socialization of families with children with mental disabilities. We are looking for volunteers to explore the route before the start of the event and accompany the bike ride itself (navigation, assistance in the event of a breakdown).

registration link.

The bike ride itself starts on August 27 in Grodno and finishes on September 5 in Minsk.

The event is dedicated to the problem of socialization of families with children with mental disorders. The start of the bike ride is on August 27 in Grodno, the finish is on September 5 in Minsk. The route, with a total length of 450 km, will pass through nine districts of Grodno and Minsk regions. It is planned that the participants of the bike ride will travel about 50 km a day.

The main goal of the bike ride is to draw attention to the problem of families with children with mental disabilities, to the problem of their inclusion in public life.

During the bike ride, participants will visit families and spend some specific time with them (perhaps having lunch or dinner, walking around the city).

The participants of the bike ride will be representatives of the UN mission (in particular, the head of the UN mission in Belarus Sanaka Samarasinha), representatives of embassies, various ministries, local authorities, famous athletes (possibly Daria Domracheva).

Join this important and necessary business! Let's ride to good use.
