18 bike garages installed in Minsk
Thanks to the work of the MVO team in the Zavodskoy district, 8 bicycle garages and bicycle storage areas have appeared in parking lots. About 10 more bike garages were organized in other parts of the city.
112 cyclists per hour!
In September 2018, we calculated the traffic intensity of cyclists at 20 points in Minsk. In 84.5 hours of counting, 7,217 cyclists were recorded. The average number of cyclists per hour is 85. The average number of cyclists is 49 per hour in the morning and 112 in the evening.
10,000 cyclists at the Viva rovar cycle carnival
The Minsk Cycling Society is a co-organizer of the largest cycling festival in Belarus - the Viva Rovar bicycle carnival. Traditionally, one of the main avenues of the city is blocked for cyclists and cyclists. In 2018, there were more than 10 thousand participants from all over Belarus and neighboring countries.
10 public lectures on cycling and the city
The MBO team organized 10 public lectures in 2018 on cycling infrastructure, urbanism, and urban activism. They were attended by over 1000 people, following the results of the events there were about 50 publications in the media.
Presentation of the route "Green Cycle Ring of Minsk" on Bicycle Day
On the World Bicycle Day in Minsk for the first time there was a presentation of the cycling route "The Green Cycling Ring of Minsk". The full route of the excursion was 70 kilometers. More than 100 cyclists have ridden over the watery green areas of Minsk in 8 hours.
17 stylish cycling photo shoots #minskbikestyle
In 2018, MVO, in partnership with the IOO "Solyanka" in a new format, continued the campaign "Bicycle and Style" (#minskbikestyle) about city cycling. In 2018, the campaign included 17 photo shoots and interviews.

In mid-May, thousands of cyclists rode through the center of Minsk in a variety of outfits as part of the traditional Viva, rovar! Bicycle carnival. In 2017, cyclists from Belarus were joined by participants from 5 more countries.
40 activists took part in the II International Cycle Camp
A training camp for cycling activists took place on August 18-20. The cycling camp brought together more than 30 cyclists and experts from different parts of Belarus and neighboring countries.
