On February 23, from 12:00 to 16:00 in the 3rd building of BSUIR (Petrusya Brovki str., 10, hall №203) the second cycling conference of students will be held.

The conference will bring together bicycle activist students from higher educational institutions, colleges and technical schools all over Belarus.

The program of the event includes a discussion of the problems encountered by students-cyclists, the state of cycling infrastructure in educational institutions, as well as holding cycling events for students.

In order to start solving these problems, the organizers invited representatives of the administrations of universities and the media to participate in the discussion.
In addition, at the conference there will be an award ceremony for the winners of the "Most Cycling University" competition, which the Solyanka International Public Organization held during the year.

“Every year there are more and more cyclists in Minsk, but this does not develop in the student environment due to the lack of cycling infrastructure on the territory of universities,” Yevgeny Rudskiy tells about the purpose of the conference. - To solve these problems, we decided to gather active students and experts from cycling organizations on one site and think over how we can influence the situation.

Participation in the conference is free, but by prior arrangement registration (until February 15).

The event was organized by the Center for Environmental Solutions and the Minsk Cycling Society in partnership with the public association "Solyanka" with the financial support of the European Union within the framework of the project "Urban Cycling in Belarus".
